Javier Moreno graduated in 2005 from EASD Alcoi, Alicante in Spain. After graduating, he started his career as a product and 3D designer for a toy factory. He then started working as a Product Designer and Product Manager in the furniture field. In addition, he developed projects as a freelance designer for both national and international companies before founding his own design studio, Javier Moreno Studio, in 2010. From early 2016, he turned his studio into a new product design agency called Bambú Studio, offering product design, development and consultancy services, with Javier Moreno acting as CEO and creative director. “For me, design should be something that matters. Nowadays everything is becoming immaterial and increasingly virtual, but people still need objects and materials in their daily life. Design should be something that is close to the people and also aesthetically pleasing. I like to be precise and in the design process I try to get the most out of less. My approach is clear, simple and close to the end user.
This design 2-seater sofa Clay is of very good quality and made of a combination of wood and metal with a seat of firm comfort foam sprung with nosag springs. Available in many trendy colors and it can be upholstered in different types of fabric, including eco cotton (60/40), coarsely woven (85/15) wool (70/30). The mattress of this sofa is made of a good quality sg30 foam, for optimal comfort. This type of foam has a medium hardness, for a good sitting and lying ratio.
