DESIGN: Matthias Demacker
Matthias Demacker was born in 1970 in Southern Germany. He studied design at the FH Niederrhein in Krefeld and
worked simultaneously with a number of different architect studios on exhibition stands. After graduation, he moved to Munich and worked for a number of interior studios and founded his own studio in 2003. He has received many awards at an international level, such as the Interior Innovation Award, a nomination for the German Design Award (both in 2005), the Red Dot Award in 2007 and the Good Design Award in 2010. His vision on design: 'make it special, but keep it simple '.
