The Karup design sofa bed Roots 160 black is a 160 cm wide two-seater sofa with a black lacquered solid pine frame that folds out into a 160×200 cm double bed. Of all the Roots versions, this is the most graphic: a dark, low line topped with a mattress in the color of your choice.
The sofa switches manually between three positions. Backrest upright for sitting, down for lounging, and with the mattress unfolded, it is a bed at a height of 20 cm.
Big enough for two, every night
At 160 by 200 cm, the bed is the same size as a fixed double bed, and the frame supports 350 kg. During the day, you sit at a height of 47 cm with a seat depth of 63 cm. The 12 cm futon mattress adapts to all positions.
