The Karup design sofa bed Chico is one of our most simple and easy to use designs, with its many configuration options it adapts to every situation. You can set up this sofa as a 4-seater sofa, corner sofa or double bed. The simple design consists of two Tatami mats of 80x200cm, with two futon mattresses of 70x200cm and a set of four back cushions. There are no hinges; in fact, the pieces fit together smoothly without any connecting parts. This means that you can effortlessly change the Chico from a 4-seater to a corner sofa or double bed of 140x200cm! This simple yet effective sofa is great for entertaining or relaxing with your guests.
The included futon mattresses are characterized by a certain firmness, but at the same time provide straight and healthy support for every type of sleeper. The mattress is filled with several layers of recycled cotton and is combined with a 4 cm foam core. The cotton layers are held in place by a quilting of buttons and covered with a cotton cover. The cover consists of 80% cotton and 20% polyester and is available in various trendy colors.
