The Karup Social futon bed in carob brown 180×200 cm is the largest size of the Social in dark brown: 188 cm wide, 204 cm long, with the top of the frame at 23 cm. The floating frame of solid pine stands on 10 cm legs that are not visible from the side. A wide, low bed in a dark color transforms a spacious bedroom into a tranquil place, especially with light walls and a light floor surrounding it.
With the option set, you turn it into more than just a bed. Two backrests at the head end with a small table on each side, and you have a hotel bed without a fixed headboard. Turn the backrests to the long side and the bed becomes a lounge for a movie night with the family. Says Who from Denmark designed the Social so that the backrest and table fit at any point on the frame, all around.
What you buy
You receive the solid pine bed frame with steel connections, painted in carob brown and FSC Mix certified, with a wooden slatted base and assembly instructions. The 180×200 cm mattress is purchased separately, either as a Karup futon from the selection list or as your own mattress. The option set includes two headboards measuring 50 cm wide, 30 cm high, and 11 cm deep, and two side tables measuring 35 by 25 cm. You can place them anywhere on the frame, around the perimeter, wherever you are using them at that moment.

Choose a futon
When configuring, you choose a Karup futon, or you order the bed without a futon and use your own mattress. The futons are constructed from layers of cotton around a core:
- Traditional: coreless cotton, approximately 13 cm
- Comfort: cotton with a 4 cm foam core, approximately 15 cm
- Coconut: cotton with a 3 cm coconut board core, approximately 16 cm
- Sandwich: cotton with a core of 4 cm latex foam and 3 cm coconut board, approximately 16 cm
- Double latex: cotton with an 8 cm latex foam core, approximately 18 cm
- Triple latex: cotton and wool with a core of 6 cm latex foam and 2 cm horsehair, approximately 20 cm

Organic futon
