The frame is made of solid FSC®-certified wood, available in natural colour for mattress sizes 140x200, 160x200 or 180x200cm. The bed comes standard with a solid wooden slatted base but you can also opt for a traditional Japanese tatami bed base, which is made of woven rice straw. The tatami mats provide better ventilation and cushioning for the futon mattress. Various types of filling for the futon are also available, including 100% recycled cotton, comfort foam, coconut fiber, or latex.
