RELAX . DREAM . STORE

The ZIGGY bed is thoughtfully designed with attention to both materials and functionality. Made from solid FSC®-certified pine wood, the gently curved frame offers a total of six open storage compartments, making it perfect for making the most of the space in your bedroom. The smart side pocket system is ideal for storing your favorite books or other essentials, while the wide frame surface easily accommodates charging your smartphones and tablets, eliminating the need for a nightstand.

ALWAYS . MAKE . SENSE

Like any responsible company, Karup Design continuously strives to make the world a better place. Social responsibility, the central concept at Karup Design, is "SENSE". A sensible way of thinking and acting for the well-being of the environment, the fight against climate change, job satisfaction, or for playing an active and caring role in our world.

The Karup Ziggy natural futon bed 160×200 cm is the double bed in the Ziggy series in the most popular size: 188 cm wide, 205 cm long, 29 cm high, clear lacquered solid pine. There are open storage pockets in the frame on both sides, six in total, so that every sleeper has their own place for a book and a phone.

Low, round, and without separate nightstands: the Ziggy 160 makes a bedroom calmer than a standard bed with two cabinets next to it. The wide edge of the frame serves as the nightstand.

This is how the Ziggy is built

Designed by the Danish studio Says Who for Karup Design. The frame is solid FSC-certified pine, clear lacquered, with soft curves and six compartments 12,5 cm deep. A slatted base and assembly instructions are included. Prefer tatami? Then choose two 80×200 cm mats when configuring, with a rice straw core and a rush grass top layer.
